Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a new Marvel phase 4 superhero blockbuster with brilliant dialogues though the movie starts with grieving Wakanda later turns out to be very enthralling and the breathtaking VFX for Talokan underwater kingdom left fans in praise.
Wakanda Forever’s new Antagonist
Wakanda Forever’s new villain, Namor (Tenoch Huerta) is a warrior-king who is the leader of Talokan, an underwater kingdom with an enormous vibranium deposit. He fears that Wakanda’s discovery will put his hidden kingdom in jeopardy after getting discovered.
Tenoch Huerta delivers Namor’s fury, leadership, intelligence, and care for the Talokans in an unbelievingly brilliant performance being a mythical character to play withinside the MCU going forward to the next phase.
Plot Summary: The Gist
It is the sequel to the Black Panther movie, the storyline of these two movies is not very much related but the knowledge of the characters and their evolution in the story is required for understanding, anyway, you won’t get lost if you missed the previous one. Have fun, Spoilers ahead.
Wakanda Forever is set several years later. Former Black Panther and the King T’Challa has died of an unspecified illness which Shuri, his sister believed could have been cured using vibranium-powered herb which was burned by Killmonger in the prequel. Wakanda is under the reign of his mother, Ramonda (Angela Bassett), who is struggling to encourage her grieving daughter, Shuri (Letitia Wright).
The first half of the movie is drowned in the grief of the demise of king T’Challa(Chadwick Boseman) in the movie also in the real world. T’Challa’s funeral with gorgeous Wakandan showmanship balanced the grief, then the story continued with other nations pressurizing Wakanda to share Vibranium. CIA and some scientists researching about Vibranium find a big deposit underwater and get attacked by water-breathing humans of Talokan leading others to believe it is Wakandan strategy.
Talokan, is the hidden underwater territory. The Talokan humans are Mayans who fled Spanish colonization by actually going below the sea. Present day, led by Namor, who confronts Ramonda and Shuri for exposing the Vibranium to the world.
Shuri and Okoye after getting the secret information about the MIT scientist working on Vibranium research project from Agent Ross, go to meet her. They get persuaded by the FBI and Talokans. Scientist Williams and Shuri are brought to Talokan by Namor’s warriors where Namor threatens to destroy Wakanda if they refuse to form an alliance with them against the world. Ramonda seeks Nakia’s help to rescue Shuri and scientist Williams but dies in the attack by Talokans.
After her mother’s funeral, Shuri uses the vibranium-powered herb that gives strength to Talokan’s people and emerges wearing a Black Panther suit. Then she seeks revenge by fighting with Namor while M’Baku urges for peace. Scientist Williams helps Wakandans by providing armour and she herself turns into Ironheart wearing a suit like Iron man. Wakandans fight with Talokans, and Shuri tries to dry out Namour by keeping him out of water. Shuri offers a peaceful alliance realising Namor and Talokans believe in similar values as Wakandans but Namora, Namor’s cousin differs and shows disappointment.
While Shuri was away, M’Baku challenges to become the new king of Wakanda. Scientist Williams returns to MIT, and Okoye helps Agent Ross get free, who was captured for sharing confidential information about the project. Shuri plants new herbs for the future and meets Nakia in Haiti.

Shuri, King T’Challa’s techie sister wears Black Panther suit after ingesting the powerful herb that provides superhuman strength and fights with Namor, the Talokan leader.
The new beginnings: Prince T’Challa 2
Marvel very well knows how to excite fans through the post-credits scene. Honouring the legacy Shuri learns about the late king T’Challa and Nakia’s secret son Toussaint, also called as Prince T’Challa 2.
